We're close to solidifying our window choices. We got a very reasonable quote back today from a local distributor, and a sales person is dropping by tomorrow with a sample window.
As for the egress problem, the solution is to eliminate one office window, expand a window in the master bedroom, and add two downstairs bedroom windows that meet requirements. This seems to be the best solution to keeping costs down and maintaining window uniformity.
On Monday, Brock picked up the expanded polystyrene which was recycled from an industrial warehouse nearby. Very environmental (and cheap). He got home just in time for trick-or-treating.
