Day 10

We officially have the beginning of a steel structure! Since I last posted, Brock decided that hiring the steel crew might not be the best use of funds until he could see how much work he and Mark could get done with just the crane operator. So today it was just the three of them out there. Things were a little slow to get going this morning, since some of the beam assemblies weren't cut properly, and needed modifications. That ate up the first few hours of the day, but eventually things picked up, and they were able to make a good deal of progress, despite having to stop for some lightning and heavy rain.

Pajama-clad "inspector"
Kudos to Erich, our crane operator from Arundel Crane Service. He was helpful and knowledgeable, and willing to lend his expertise to our project.
