Days 137-138

I'm losing steam on this project, but we are (hopefully) headed down the home stretch.

First of all, for those of you observant enough to notice the error in the tile in the first floor bathroom, here is a picture of the corrected version:
Tile problem fixed
Below is a look at the tile work Mark did today. In the first picture, you can see a little bit of the paint that we chose for the kids' bathroom. Brock is concerned that it's Carolina Blue, so please reassure him that it's not.

More of the same
As it turns out, the painters only painted white. I don't really want to talk about it, but I'll begrudgingly admit that it still looks pretty good. Hard to take pictures of white walls, but here you have it:

Brock attacked trees and pricker bushes with a machete and a chain saw today to make room for the water and sewer guy to run pipes.

We might have garage doors as early as tomorrow. Oh, and we have interior door knobs now.

  1. It may not be Carolina blue, but I'm not so certain. And if it is, I'm horrified, too. :)
