Day 95

Rain and chilly temperatures made for some treacherous conditions for the crew as they maneuvered around on the roof installing soffit. As with so many steps in this project, it is taking longer than they anticipated, but they've finish the back of the house, and have made some headway on the sides.

If, like I was, you're wondering what you should be looking for, the soffit is the part that covers the exposed under-surface of the overhanging section of roof eave. You can also compare these pictures against the one from Day 92 in which the roof purlins are exposed.

The framers were back today to evaluate their work, and discuss what they'll be working on when they return tomorrow morning.
