Long weekend, but we're back! Bright and early, our workers showed up and continued working on the foundation. Today they dug the footers, which are the base of the foundation.

Then the county inspector came by and gave us the go-ahead after inspecting the footer forms. After that, it was on to pouring concrete, placing re-bar, and wrapping up for the day. Here are the completed footers:
